Questions about delivery and returns
What does delivery cost?
Stone ships on a pallet by kerbside delivery. Tools and mortar go by courier. Delivery is free over £250 on the mainland, otherwise it is quoted at checkout by weight.
Where do you deliver?
The UK mainland as standard. For anywhere else, ask before you order and it will be quoted.
How does stone arrive?
On a pallet, left at the kerb. Tools and mortar travel separately by courier, so they can arrive on a different day.
Will the driver carry it round the back?
No. Kerbside means kerbside, and a pallet of setts is not a two-person lift. Have somewhere to put it before it arrives.
What if it arrives damaged?
Photograph it on the pallet before you sign for it, and it will be replaced.
Can I return cut stone?
No. Cut stone is made to your measurements, so it is not returnable. Tools and unopened mortar have sixty days.
The full Brackmoor range
Everything Brackmoor Stoneworks sells, on one page: paving, mortar and hand tools, for the trade and for people doing the work themselves. Each product page carries the specification, the options you can order and the delivery terms, so the cost of getting it to site is not left until checkout.
Paving is riven sandstone setts, sawn six sides and riven on the face, sold by the square metre as laid. Mortar is natural hydraulic lime in three grades, sold by the 25kg bag. Tools are a forged bolster and lump hammer set with a choice of handle.
Stone travels by pallet and is left at the kerb. Tools and mortar go by courier and can arrive separately. Delivery is free over £250 on the mainland and quoted by weight below that.
